Why did KCCA FC resign Brian Majwega?
The Lugogo based team recently struggling in the left back position following Kiiza Mustafa’s departure for Canada, and Filbert Obenchan leaving the club this month too, the resiging of Majwega will offer coach Morley Byekwaso the a good cover in the position that has haunted the club in the recent past.
In the league, it is hard to not hear the name Brian being flaunted among the best as evidenced by his illustrrious career and KCCA FC know that his signing will be of huge importance to the club.
The Veteran has excelled both at defense and offense thanks to his ability to play as a wing-back. Seeing as the Kasasiro boys have quite a number of options in the midfield, Majwega will most likely be utilized in the left back position where he started his craft.
His leadership and experience are some of the atributes that coach Byekwaso will be looking to mine from the veteran when the season begins and the coach knows that that counts for so much in a league where many opponents have caught up with both them and Vipers as evidenced by Express FC winning the 2020-21 Uganda Premier League season.
