When Paul Pogba had just been signed from Juventus for a record 85 Million pounds, a lot had been expected of him but in his first season, he struggled to showcase the form that he had come with from the Old Lady.
For many of the Red Devils’ fans, questions had started circulating of whether their money had been rightly spent on the Frenchman.
However, with Mourinho letting Ander Hererra and Nemanja Matic do the defensive dirty wok and defensive duties recently, Paul Pogba has found himself having room to loiter in the midfield as he chooses and this has transformed his game play.
This season alone, Paul Pogba has played 18 games in all competitions, and in these games he has been able to score in three games and create eight assists. That is a bigger step up from the French midfielder as compared to last season.
With Alexis Sanchez rumored to be on the verge of joining Manchester United, Pogba seems to just be getting started as Alexis will offer him so much balance going forward and support.

I don’t mean to take anything away from Rashford or Martial but Alexis is a much more experienced player and with hunger and desire to win silverware, he will provide the much-needed difference that is required by Pogba.
The 24 year old Pogba is just one assist shy of Kevin De Bryune who is wildly regarded as the best midfielder in the league at the moment.
For manager Jose Mourinho, this is a good sign and promises to be even getting better as the league enters the final half of the season.
Mourihno will be hoping that the lanky French player continues with his fine form and he creates a working condition with his attacking players in Martial, Lingard and Lukaku.
