The Case of Disgruntled Sanchez and Disillusioned Arsenal

When Alexis Sanchez signed on from Barcelona, he was an under utilized player. He chose to join the Arsenal ranks because Wenger sold him an illusion and the first season indicated that there would be progress in the coming seasons.

But three seasons in and Arsenal have looked like a shadow of themselves and they can’t seem to be able to splash money to buy any new players to boost on a very weak defense, striking that is always faltering in front of goal and a midfield that is short of ideas.

The zeal to fight for the badge at Arsenal is so poor in that Alexis got so fade up with the lackluster performances of his team-mates. For Alexis Sanchez, a transfer out of Arsenal is nothing but a decision that is justified and one that he wants to see happen in a very short space of time.

For Arsenal and Wenger, they are living in a bubble where they believe that they are doing well and that other teams are just buying their ways to the title but then again, that is where football has gone to.

Arsenal had always shown themselves as the team that has been able to develop and nurture young talents but over the last 8 years, it is hard to identify a single player that has come from the thier academy and gone on to do wonders in world football.

Arsenal is still relying on the hopes that probably one day Arsene Wenger will wake up and resign his position at the helm of the management and give another manager a chance to clean up the mess that he has created.

It is very absurd that a manager who had been an icon at Arsenal as a club will now be remember mostly for destroying the very virtues that he set up in his earlier days at Arsenal.

Arsenal fans have started resigning from going to the Emirates stadium to watch the games and are now happy to watch the games on TV. Should this be done by many of the fans, then the team stands a chance to lose a lot of revenue.
