In another of their rescheduled fixtures, the 2018/19 Uganda Premier League Champions, KCCA FC will be hosting Kyetume F.C this evening.
After a hard fought draw against URA F.C, the Kasasiro boys will be aiming at collecting maximum points against the League debutants.
KCCA F.C will look at capitalizing from Vipers’ draw last evening vs Maroons and further close the gap between them and the table leaders.
Coach Mike Mutebi’s side has been boosted by the return of midfielder Simon Sserunkuma to first team training while senior players Sadam Juma and Jackson Nunda remain sidelined due to injury.
The Slaughters’ interim coach, Brian Mutono will be leading his team to a very tricky away trip. He will be looking to salvage his first point(s) in the Kyetume dug out having lost both his previous games since taking over from George Best Nsimbe.
Kyetume have had very horrendous/bad (some times keeping the English simple is the best thing for readers) outings away from home with the most popular one being a 7-1 thrashing away at Greenlight Stadium which even led to the sacking of their coach.
The Slaughters will look at overturning their away nightmares when they visit the defending Champions this evening.
Both sides come into this game with 7 points separating them. The hosts, KCCA F.C are 4th with 23 points while Kyetume fill the 12th slot with 16 points.
