A staff member of the Uganda Cancer Institute Ezra Roy Anecho is missing. Ezra who was last seen in the afternoon of 11th September, 2019 has been reported missing and hasn’t been seen since.
All efforts to reach and locate him have been futile. His phone numbers are all off, and his car is neither at his place of residence or place of work.
Speaking to the Public Relations Officer, Ezra is said to have left the Uganda Cancer Institute to head to Makerere to pick his girlfriend at 7:00pm. The girlfriend states that she waited for him but he was a no show and when she realized that it was getting late, she left for home.
Upon reaching home, he was still a no show and so she tried to reach him on his mobile phone which was now off. She got worried and first thing in the morning she reached out to his mother.
The two went to the Uganda Cancer Institute with the hope that he was still at work only to find that he was not there. The case has since been taken to Mulago Police where a missing person file has been opened.
Anecho was driving a Toyota Wish Number UBD 451E. The family is currently with the Uganda Police as they all try to locate him. The Cancer institute is asking for all kind of support with information that can be of advantage to help the family and Uganda Police to locate Ezra.
