Sports Club Villa Make their First Signing of the Transfer Window

Ever since the F.A announced the premature end of the 2019/20 season, several Uganda Premier League sides like SC Villa have been strengthening and making adjustments to their team lineups in anticipation for the 2020/21 season slated to commence on October 19th.

Record champions SC Villa have been working in incognito mode without media interference. Today the Jogoos announced the contract extension of their number one shot-stopper Saidi Keni who will be at the Nsambya based side until 2022.

The 20-year-old joined the Jogoos in January 2019 and helped the side avoid relegation in the 2018/19 season. Last season, he was very pivotal in Coach Kaziba’s side by putting up many match-winning performances hence helping them finish third in the prematurely cancelled season.

“I am happy to commit my future to this great club because as a young boy growing up, I dreamed of playing for one of the greatest clubs in Uganda, and they don’t come any greater than SC Villa,” said Keni. “At this point, there is no better place for me to further my career than at this great club.”
