Sports Club Villa matches the buyout clause of U-20 International, Kenneth Semakula in order to lure him from Jinja based outfit BUL F.C to join the Villa Park side.
The 6 feet tall 18-year-old centre half has been contracted at BUL F.C since the beginning of last season. He was part of the Uganda Kobs side that went all the way to the finals of the U-20 AFCON only to fall to Ghana.
Having discovered how much the buyout clause of the player, Villa moved swiftly to beat other suitors to capture the signature of the highly-rated self nicknamed Ramos defender. Semakula will strengthen SC Villa’s defence and also bring modern attributes of a defender into the Villa backline.
The youngster has been with Bul FC through the 2020 season and has been impressive and helped the club to achieve some of its best performances in the 2020/21 season. The intelligent player was born to Mr Charles Lwanga and Mrs Aidah Nanyonga in Tororo town, in the Eastern part of the country.
