As Liverpool continues with it’s hunt for for a first English Premier League title in over 30 years, they have been handed a huge boost after manager Jurgen Klopp put pen to paper to extend his contract till 2024.
Liverpool are currently leading the English Premier table and are closely followed by Leicester City while Manchester City find themselves struggling in third position.
Jurgen Klopp has already guided the UEFA Champions league defending champions to the last round of 16 where they await to see who they will be drawn up against.
The German, who last penned a new deal in June 2016, had two-and-a-half years left on those terms but it has always been the intention of Fenway Sports Group to reward the outstanding work Klopp has overseen.

It was first made clear to Klopp in the build up to the club’s Champions League triumph in June that FSG would be prepared to give him whatever kind of contract he wanted but during the summer he made it clear there was no hurry to make a decision.
Jurgen Klopp has always stated that he loves it at Liverpool and that he intends to continue helping the Anfield based side to win trophies.
Liverpool are currently headed a very congested period of football seeing as they have the FIFA Club World Cup championship in Qatar, English Premier and the League cup quarter final match against Aston Villa.
For Liverpool, this is awesome news as it will help the club with it’s continuity and building to become the most successful team in England and Europe.
Jurgen Klopp has also been named as the English Premier League EA sports manager of the month of November as he continues to steer Liverpool away from the major competition for the title.
