There has not been a lot of transfer activity in the January transfer window with most teams slightly showing that they may not get busy in the window and will wait for the summer to sign more permanent players.
But with teams like Tottenham, Manchester United and Arsenal looking more like they need reinforcement in the window, one would have imagined that they would be busy during the transfers.
In this article we take a look at some transfers that have happened and how they could help the various clubs and which teams are looking at buying players.
Liverpool Sign Takumi
After dazzling Liverpool in the Champions league, Jurgen Klopp signed Takumi Minamino to add flair into his squad. The Japanese international was such a disaster against Liverpool that Klopp knew that he was the man to add to his team.

After the January Transfer Window, will Aston Villa survive the drop?
He is a prolific goal scorer but what makes him even stand out is his ability to bring the rest of the team in to play. He has great speed, strength. He is also good both on his feet and air.
Aston Villa also signed Spanish goalkeeper Pepe Reina from AC Milan on a six month loan deal to provide cover for their goal keepers.
The club who have been quite busy this transfer window also signed English international Danny Drinkwater on loan to boost their midfield.

Transfers that could happen
Manchester United with the injuries that just on ripping into their squad will be trying to get busy in the transfer window. Injuries to the likes of Rashford, Pogba, Scott Mctominay among others could see the Old Trafford get in to the market.
Reports have linked Ole Gunnar Solsjaer’s side with a move for Portuguese midfielder Bruno Fernandez. Last week, reports had suggested that he was nearing signing for the Red Devils but the deal fell through at the last moment.
According to different papers, United have also been linked with a move for Uruguayan international Edison Cavani as it seems that he wants to leave Paris Saint Germain.
The Gunners have not really been active in the transfer window despite injuries to the likes of Kolasniac, Kieran Tierney and a very leaky defense.
The club have been so far linked with a move for Paris Saint Germain left back Layvin Kurzawa though Mikel Arteta has distanced the club from the player stating that they are currently not in the market.
The worry for onlookers was why Arsenal would be willing to go in for a player who is also very injury prone.
