Bad Moms Movie Review

When I first watched this movie, all I could think about was maybe this was just one of those “comedies” with more drama and lame jokes but I was wrong.

Bad Moms is awesome! That’s quite an understatement, it’s fun, crazy and excitingly worth watching. The movie is about three mothers who have had it rough dealing with daily family responsibilities and too many ridiculous PTA school meetings.

The 2016 movie is directed by Jon Lucas & Scoot Moore and brings to life an amazing cast which includes Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell, Kathryn Hahn, Jada Pinket and Christina Applegate.

Sick twisted jokes coupled with insane humour put Bad Moms to the top as a good American comedy

Plot

This amazing comedy tells the story of three mothers who feel underappreciated and overworked by their demanding roles as mothers.

Amy Mitchell (Mila Kunis) is a married woman with two children who later is betrayed by her husband when she catches him having an affair online. She also has beef with the PTA (Parent Teacher Association) chairperson Gwendolyn James (Christina Applegate) and her annoying band of sisters Stacy (Jada Pinkett Smith) and Vicky (Annie Mumolo).

The three develop a grudge for Amy after she stands up against them during a PTA meeting at their kid’s school.

Amy teams up with Carla (Kathryn Hahn) a laid back sexually active single mom and Kiki (Kristen Bell), a stay-at-home mom of four to battle against Gwendolyn and her evil band of witches in the PTA election race.

Why you should pick up a copy of Bad Moms

Carla (Kathryn Hahn) plays the laid back sexually active single mom

This isn’t just one of those boring comedies, it’s a quest filled with humour, hilarious scenes and a lovable cast of actors all put together to bring you a memorable experience.

Bad Moms doesn’t disappoint, Kathryn Hahn’s performance as the sexually deviant mom spices up the story even more plus Mila Kunis & Kristen Bell’s acting isn’t something one can easily ignore.

The movie brings more to the table than just three depressed angry moms and if you haven’t watched it yet, then I don’t know what you have been up to all this time.

We are also expecting a second installment of Bad Moms 2 this year according to the film’s star Kristen Bell, who tweeted about it on 24th December 2016. The sequel may be in theatres by November 3, 2017, as some reports state.
