MOVIE REVIEW: “JUSTICE LEAGUE” – A Beacon of Hope

Entertainment, Movies and Series
A long time ago, the internet was a very reliable source for almost anything. Once you typed a question into the Google search field, you were certain what you got back was an accurate response from the all-knowing gods of the World Wide Web. Then the internet became too accessible and just about any idiot with a good internet connection and a laptop could upload anything for the public’s consumption. Many of us however, fail to acknowledge that the era of internet credibility is long gone. The internet now is vast sea of fake news and meaningless opinions from fanatics and haters alike. Fake news and these nonsensical opinions play for both sides as some stand to majorly benefit and others to majorly lose. This is precisely how one can describe the internet’s relationship with Zac

Kevin Spacey Hopes to Rejoin House of Cards

Entertainment, Movies and Series
As at least three criminal investigations continue involving sexual assault accusations against Kevin Spacey, the production company behind his popular Netflix political drama House of Cards issued an update Sunday to its cast and crew. The memo shared with USA TODAY acknowledged that with the holiday season starting, producers would understand if crew members took other jobs and would not be available if work on the series does restart. House of Cards, which shoots just outside of Baltimore, halted production just as it started working on Season 6, which is set to be its last. The move came quickly after sexual harassment and assault accusations against Spacey were reported by men, some of whom were minors during the alleged incidents. The actor is now the subject of multiple investigat...

OCN Considers Voice for A Second Season

Entertainment, Movies and Series
Dramaland is most certainly taking a new twist as we have seen KBS announcing Mystery Queen will be getting a new season which has left OCN without a choice but renewal the good show for another season. Voice aired on OCN from January to March breaking the station's drama ratings. K-Drama fans out there will agree Voice was epic in every sense of the concept. Another multi-thriller season of Voice is so welcomed, since the story format it had gives the show room for more expansion. Lee Ha Na and Jang Hyuk will be keeping their roles as Voice profiler and police officer respectively at an Emergency Call Centre working on the same team as they try to solve and save victims of crime within the stipulated time known as "The Golden Time." It's brutal, violent and creepy scenes left a mark o...

Series Review: Empire Season 4 Premiere

Series Review: Empire Season 4 Premiere

Entertainment, Movies and Series
Season 1 of EMPIRE was great. Pure genius in fact. A TV series about the kind of music we love, the kind of music our parents often ask, “What rubbish do you listen to these days?” We loved it because it gave us music and musicians that were just as talented as the roles they were cast in. It ended on a high note, ratings over the roof and high anticipation for the next season visible online. Season 2 dropped, and we noticed a shift in the story. Less music, more drama, but okay, we still supported it anyway. Also Read: Lara Croft Tomb Raider Reboot 2017 Trailer Season 3 dropped. Hardly any music, lots of questionable and clearly avoidable drama and this time, we started to get bored. We saw a show we loved for music turn into a “Real Husbands and wives and sons” sort of

In Dayton’s Mind Chapter 1: The Building

Mind Wreck, Stories
I walk into a massive building, housed by glistening silver tiles. I’m sure it must be the biggest building in the city since it’s owned by the biggest company in the country. My hair is all shabby, I’m wearing dark blue jeans and a checkered shirt. I didn't have much time to care about how I really look. I’m confused and lost in a building that looked more like a maze or as I may put it, “a pile of Lego building blocks” those kind of toys every child dreamed of now and then. I make it to the top floor, and here I was staring at the jaw dropping well designed clean lobby with a scent of one those new offices filled with empty file cabinets and while I was lost in the moment, I hear a voice, a light beautiful voice. “Sir, please….Sir… Can I help you?” I turn, look at who seems to be a re
