To start with is an important notice to take is that this game has been rescheduled from 4:30pm as shown by the initial fixture to 8:30pm in the night. Meaning that we shall be having another floodlights game.
S.C Villa’s Edwardo Kaziba will be walking down the dugout for the second competitive game as the Head Coach. After a shock defeat to Kyetume F.C with whom they share Namboole Stadium as their home ground on match day one, Kaziba will look to wax up his team’s performance from this tight encounter against red hot Ankore Lions who won their match day one fixture with a 3 goal cushion.
C Villa look to bolster their squad with two vital first team players in Derrick Ndahiro and Albert Mugisa who are expected to directly get into the first XI. Hopefully this time around the home side will capitalize on the advantage of the huge crowds who endlessly go to Namboole Stadium to cheer them so that they put an end to miseries of Match day one.
On the other side the Ankore Lions had a colorful Match day one where they managed to whoop Proline F.C 3-0 under the stewardship of Assistant Coach Brian Ssenyondo who also held the same role at Villa Park last season. It was a great start for the Lions’ talisman Paul Mucurezi who kicked off the season by scoring two goals.
With their latest recruit Gadaffi Gadinho poised to make his debut on Match day 2, Mbarara City are looking at further improving their midfield in order to continue their run of good form.
Mbarara City might seem favorites to come out on top in this encounter but it should be noted that Mbarara City has never won nor collected a single point away to S.C Villa with all the 4 points they have managed against the Jogoos coming from home at Kakyeka Stadium.
Will Mbarara City collect their first ever points away to S.C Villa or will S.C Villa come out on top??
