In the wake of the embarrassing and humiliating defeats faced by both sides during game week 23, Rossoneri (AC Milan) and Bianconeri (Juventus) are both looking at taking an early advantage in the two-legged semi-final while aiming for a positive response to the previous League game losses.
Milan will once more look at the leadership of the 38-year-old veteran Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic upfront and the also hope that the 20-year-old stopper Gianluigi Donnaruma is at the top of his game tonight.
The Rossoneri will be without Rade Krunic and longtime absentee Leo Duarte while defenders Davide Calabria and Mateo Musacchio will be available for selection.
Below is a summary of the different encounters between AC Milan and Juventus
In form, Cristiano Ronaldo will be a center of attention again tonight. Coming up against a defensively disastrous AC Milan, nothing other than adding more on his goal tally is expected from the Portuguese forward.
Having suffered an injury during the game against Hellas, Diego Costa has been ruled out of this encounter in addition to long time absentees Giorgio Chiellini, Sami Khedira, and Merih Demiral.
The game is expected to be entertaining, however, the doubts surrounding Milan’s defensive problems could be their downfall as they may not be able to stop Ronaldo’s attacks.
