Tecno Mobile has been building hype towards its new handset, the Tecno Phantom 8 ahead of the launch in Dubai all week on its social media channels.
On the evening of Sunday, 22nd October, 2017; Transsion Holdings held the Tecno Phantom 8 launch at Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Dubai with a global live stream. Tecno Mobile Nigeria even went as far to offer a prize to those who watch the live stream and engage on the #Phantom8Launch hashtag on Twitter.

There were a lot of talks from the leadership in Transsion Holdings, the parent company of Tecno such as the VP of Transsion Holdings, Alif Chowdhury and Lu Han, Product Director. Tecno even managed to get in David Abdallah, a famous photographer in the Middle East to share his experience taking photos with the Tecno Phantom 8.
Down to the specs, the phone is pretty amped up with more than 25MP in combined rear Sony camera power and 20MP front camera, 64GB ROM, Octacore, 6GB RAM, Finger print sensor, Android 7.0, 4G LTE, fast charging and of course all this fitted into a 5.7” FHD screen. Just shy of becoming a full-fledged phablet.

This phone is powerful and amazing, the only problem is, this phone is the spitting image of the Samsung Galaxy S8 by design and a OnePlus3 by specs. There is a bold statement in naming one of the colours available, “galaxy blue”.
