“Baby Benz.” He drives a “Baby Benz.” That is a term you are probably familiar with if you hang out in a Mercedes owners circle or you watch a lot of movies and, you actually listen to rap lyrics.
“Baby Benz” rightfully often refers to the A & B-Class Mercedes. And disrespectfully refers to the C-Class. Your richer friends with the E & S-Class will call your C-Class a “Baby Benz” just to get on your nerves. Regardless of whether your C-Class is a top model AMG version, the smaller sedan will always be clowned upon.
No Mercedes owner of the above-mentioned classes would ever feel insulted by that, but it is irritating to hear. Baby Benz, monster Benz, any Benz… a Mercedes Benz is a ‘m’fn’ Mercedes Benz – the Best cars in the world.
Now in 2018, Mercedes has unveiled what is rightfully a “Baby Benz.” The All-new brand-new Mercedes Benz A Class L Sedan. The littlest most adorable Mercedes Sedan, but the most beautiful car they have in production right now.
What the all-new brand-new A Class L Sedan is; is a younger sibling to the E & S Class. Born of the same father and mother. It borrows a lot from its big brothers, both in styling and tech. Simply put; it is an E 0r S Class that has been left in the dryer too long and now it’s shrunken.
This Mercedes is currently my absolute favourite car in production right now. It’s a Benz and it’s small. I don’t like big cars very much. They are hard to manoeuvre and for me, I need that assured agility when I drive a car.
I need to squeeze through the tiny parking lot at my house, and I need to take advantage of small gaps on Jinja road when I speed home.
What makes the A-Class L the perfect sedan and baby Benz for me has got to be how they (Mercedes) spared no expense. Mercedes has designed and built a tiny S Class. The features and technology they have packed in this car are normally left to the top models they make. But not this time.
This is a very exciting little car and in many years to come, I cannot wait to finally be able to afford one. And when reviewers have gotten their hands on it and done an in-depth analysis, I’ll be back to detail all the amazing stuff Mercedes packed into this Baby Benz.
