Lebron James Surpasses Michael Jordan On NBA All Scoring Charts

. In 2003, a kid from Akron, Ohio was drafted into the NBA as the 1st round pick for the Cleveland Cavaliers and he chose to don the number 23 in respect to his idol, Michael Jordan. Little did this kid know that he would later surpass his idol on the NBA All Time scoring charts.

Lebron has eclipsed Jordan in total career points in the NBA moving to the 4th spot, a position the Chicago Bulls legend had held for quite some time having amassed 32,292 points in his career.

Lebron is now 4th with 32,311 points with Kareem Abdul Jabbar in the first place (38,387 points), Karl Malone coming in second (36,928 points) and Kobe Bryant (33,643 points) holding the top three spot.

Despite the bad season the Lakers are enduring with a high possibility of not making the playoffs, this is by all means a great personal feat for King James.

Lebron is often considered as one of the best basketball players in the world and regarded by some as the greatest player of all time. His accomplishments include four NBA Most Valuable Player Awards, three NBA Finals MVP Awards, and two Olympic gold medals.
