Wenger Said to be in Line to Replace Zidane

Reports coming in indicate that the former Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger is slated to take over at the helm of Real Madrid after the departure of his country man Zinedine Zidane.

Zidane today announced that he has resigned from a position he has held for the last 2 and half years with Real Madrid where he has won 3 UEFA Champions League trophies.

For many, Zidane’s departure has come too early as it looked like he still had history to write with the club and the players that he had assembled.

The task ahead of Madrid now is replacing the manager who has done so much for them while also looking at bolstering their squad.

Real Madrid are most definitely destined for a very long summer ahead as they prepare to pick a new manager that can lead them to success like the previous did.

There is already unrest at the club as Cristiano Ronaldo hinted on an idea that he may have actually played his last game for the Spanish giants in Kiev after they managed to defeat Liverpool by 3 goals to 1 in the UEFA Champions League final.

As pressure keeps mounting at Madrid, the last thing that they would like to hear is that former Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger will be taking over at the helm of the club.

The French man has been targeted by Madrid for a while now and after his resignation from Arsenal, a club he had managed for 22 years. He could take over at the Spanish capital should the call come in.
