Real Madrid Attack the Allianz Arena and Leave with Heads Up high
In what was promising to be a blockbuster lived up to its expectations when Real Madrid and Bayern Munich faced off at the Allianz Arena.
Real Madrid will go into the next leg knowing that their work has been cut out slightly for them.
Both teams showed no respect for each other as they went all out to attack. Real Madrid attacked so much more and had the first glance at the goal but Neur and his defense were also having a good day.
Bayern Munich responded with an emphatic, strong and relentless attack at Madrid. Kylo Navas was forced to make several outstanding saves.

Managers Carlo Ancelotti and his apprentice Zinedine Zidane both showed great tactical acumen in a game that could have gone either way.
In the 25th minute it was Arturo Vidal who powered home a header that went right passed Navas after sloppy defending from Nacho from an Arjen Robben corner.
Real Madrid responded with good build ups that finally saw Cristiano Ronaldo tap home the equalizer that just lit the stadium in 47th minute
Manuel Neur was the busiest of the two goal keepers as he had a lot of saves to make and two very brilliant saves from Ronaldo and Benzema shots that could have ended the tie.
Vidal came close to making it 2-1 but he fired his penalty to the stands and Ronaldo and co would eventually punish them for not utilizing their chance.
And indeed Ronaldo scored Madrid’s second goal in 77th minute after Martinez was shown red card after he brought down a high flying Cristiano who was on his way on a counter attack.
Madrid had more chances to make take the game to 3-1 but failed to utilize their chances and at of the day, it would all end 2-1 in favor of the Los Blancos who are chasing for their 12th Champions League trophy.
Despite Madrid having a 2-1 lead heading into the second leg next Tuesday, this game is far from certain or over. Bayern have a history of turning games around and more so against Spanish teams.
Zidane will be hoping that his team can keep together and provide a fight for the semifinal slot next Tuesday, and the Ronaldo injury scare turns out to be a false alarm.
Bayern will have welcomed back Lewandowski and Hummels for the visit to the Madrid capital for the return which could make the tie a super blockbuster.
