After John Wick Chapter 4 was released a few weeks ago, Keanu Reeves became the talk of the town with many heading to the cinema to watch one of the world’s most famous assassins take on the high table in high-octane action and style.
After three successful instalments, Keanu Reeves has only grown in popularity and we have come to respect the casts that have played a role in making the franchise a hit like Halle Berry, Lance Reddick (God rest his soul), Ian McShane, Laurence Fishburne, Michael Nyqvist, Donnie Yen and the likes of Scott Adkins who joined in the fourth chapter to mention but few.
A few days ago, John Wick Chapter 4 was able to make a total of $122.6 million at the box office, a figure which is only expected to keep rising as the weeks fly by though, there was a bit of a drop of 62%, having raked as one of the franchise-best $73.5 million in its premiere weekend.
For those who have known Keanu Reeves for a while now. the star has ranked up under his belt several blockbusters to his name either as a main or featured actor and we have come to enjoy his appearances in movies like River’s Edge (1987), Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure (1989), My Own Private Idaho (1991), Much Ado About Nothing (1993), Speed (1994), and The Matrix (1999) and of course, we can’t leave out John Wick too.
As the anticipation grew stronger for chapter 4 to drop. fans took it upon themselves to revisit the earlier movies, taking all forms of routes to streaming platforms to DVD boxset purchases and much more and surprisingly, the data revealed something quite interesting which you might find amusing. According to data shared by JustWatch, when it comes to ranking the top action movies by Keanu Reeves, The Matrix (1994) still reigns as the king at the top followed by John Wick in second place.

All three parts of “John Wick” ranked right after the hit “Matrix” including other popular movies starring Keanu Reeves which included Constantine or Speed as well as the sequels to “Matrix”.
John Wick: Chapter 4 is directed by Chad Stahelski off a screenplay from Shay Hatten and Michael Finch. The film is produced by Basil Iwanyk through his Thunder Road Films banner, Lee, Lionsgate’s Summit Entertainment banner, and Stahelski’s 87Eleven Productions. John Wick: Chapter 4 is now playing in theatres.
