Are You Ready for Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Part 3 This Friday?

Warner Bros’ Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is returning this Friday, 24th January, 2020 on Netflix with the much-anticipated Part 3. Are you ready for the new season of the TV series?

Part 3 will be the first part of the second season of the TV series. Confusing, right? Part 1 and 2 made up Season 1 even if they were released separately. The show is a way darker and horror version of Sabrina The Teenage Witch and a spin-off of Archie Comics’, Riverdale.

What can we expect from Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Part 3?

At the end of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Part 2, we remember that it ends with the team Roz, Harvey and Theo defeating Lucifer (The Dark Lord) and throwing him into hell inside the body of Sabrina’s boyfriend, Nick. The gang vows to find a way to go and rescue Nick from Hell and we expect that will be much of the plot for this part.

Because of this, we expect there will be less mention or centering around the high school drama and Sabrina’s dark school for witches. We do know that she might have her hell powers, which she inherits from her shared bloodline with her father, the Dark Lord.

Even if she lost them in Part 2, we see Lilith restore them as a parting gift and hear a mention about her miraculous powers in the trailer for Part 3. These powers give her an edge over all other “dark entities” and will come in hand during her battles in hell or elsewhere.

There are rumours about a new villain, called Caliban, the crown prince of Hell who apparently might be the evil twin of Sabrina we saw glimpses of as a baby in the first part/season of the series. Some Redditors have posted the alleged audition script for Caliban’s role introducing himself to Sabrina as the Prince of Hell.

The rumoured Prince of Hell, Caliban

With no one truly at the helm of the throne of hell, Caliban has set his sights on taking it and wants to accomplish his father’s vision of conquering Earth and enslaving all mortals and witches.

We know Lilith at the end of Part 2 crowned herself the Queen of Hell, but most of the monsters in the underworld don’t care about her or want to respect her. So, there are possibilities that Sabrina might have to become the Queen of Hell in order to save her boyfriend and quell the anarchy there.

At the beginning of the trailer, we hear Lucifer tell her that the only way to save Nick, she must become the Queen of Hell which is her rite as his daughter. But in so doing, she may resurrect Lucifer who is in his body.

Though not yet confirmed, Part 4 of the series (which will be the second part of the second season of the series) might take place in heaven as in the final scene of the trailer we hear Aunt Zelda asking Sabrina, “Honestly, first purgatory, now hell. What’s next? Heaven?

That joke could also imply that we might see some scenes take part in purgatory in Part 3. How much of these speculations are true will be known when the series drops this Friday, we can’t wait to watch it. Thankfully, the premiere of the series is just two days away!

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is one of the few productions that stay true to giving a thrilling and horror filled experience, it is why most of its fans love it. It is also well researched to depict most witch craft and religious lore somewhat accurately.
